You’ll notice many of the faithful (who are physically able) stand throughout the services. This is the way we traditionally pray. Please don’t hesitate to sit whenever you need to. We completely understand if you need a break. We only ask that you make sure you stand during the Gospel reading and the Great Entrance (when we bring the Gifts in procession around the inside of the church).
We also generally don’t kneel on Sundays since kneeling is associated more with penitential seasons (like Great Lent), but you’ll see more kneeling at weekday services during special times of the year.
